The Lantern is a is a shop offering used and rare books that was founded and run by volunteers, most of whom are local Bryn Mawr College alumnae. All of us love books! Our mission is to provide financial assistance to Bryn Mawr College students, and all of our profits go to the College. Our work would not be possible without the help of our book donors, dedicated patrons, and wonderful volunteer staff – to whom we are most grateful. We also have art, LP records, and DVDs. Come in for a visit, you never know what fun book you'll find on our shelves! (Please note that, because the Lantern is an all-volunteer organization, we sometimes have unavoidable staffing gaps; call ahead to make sure we're open!)
