The GW Medical Faculty Associates was incorporated in July 2000 as a non-profit, physician-led practice group. Formerly part of The George Washington University, we have grown to become the largest independent physician practice in the Washington DC metro region with more than 750 providers. Our physicians provide comprehensive patient care with over 52 medical and surgical specialties. As members of The GW School of Medicine and Health Sciences faculty, our providers are teachers and mentors for medical students, residents, and researchers preserving our rich tradition of academics, research, and healing. We also maintain a close alliance with our partners at The George Washington University Hospital.
