Taylor is an openly Queer identified Clinical Social Worker, originally from Alabama. She moved to DC in 2017 and began working at a nonprofit providing psychotherapy services to youth & families. Taylor is trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral therapy, an evidence-based treatment for children and adolescents impacted by trauma and their parents or caregivers. She utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques to address anxiety, depression, panic disorder, gender dysphoria, PTSD, grief and adjustment disorders. Much of her career has been working with individuals and families in the BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities. Additionally, Taylor facilitates groups for communication issues, parenting, anger management and more.
