Steven A Farmer, MD, PhD, FACC, FASE is an Associate Professor of Medicine & Public Health. He also serves as Associate Director for GW's Office of Clinical Practice Innovation. He specializes in non-invasive cardiovascular imaging, including nuclear cardiology and echocardiography. His clinical interests include the prevention and treatment of coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, and valvular heart disease. Dr Farmer earned his bachelor's degree in international relations from Stanford University. As a British Marshall Scholar, he received his doctorate in Health Services Research & Policy from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine. He received his MD degree from Yale University School of Medicine.
