Shalin S Patel MD is a spine surgeon and assistant professor of orthopaedic surgery at The GW Medical Faculty Associates. He specializes in the treatment of spinal disorders of the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine. Dr Patel is trained in minimally invasive procedures used to address issues pertaining to cervical disc herniations, cervical radiculopathy/myelopathy, lumbar degenerative conditions as well as spinal tumors and spinal deformity. Dr Patel completed his undergraduate education at Boston College and earned his medical degree at Drexel University College of Medicine. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency training at Loma Linda University Medical Center in southern California.
