For the last 20 years, Rafael Grocery has been a staple neighborhood convenience store that sells beer, wine, and essential food and household items. Kidan, founder and owner of Rafael Grocery, is natively from Eritrea, a country located on the East Coast of Africa. Kidan has become become a local staple; she enjoyed connecting with the community. Kidan says, "You're not my customers; you are my family. Everyone is welcome here."
