Nick Moreland is an award winning portrait photographer based in Washington DC. His work has been featured in The Washington Post, Smithsonian Folklife Magazine, District Fray Magazine, and Washington Hispanic. Nick currently works with a wide range of creative, commercial, and corporate clients in the Washington DC area and abroad. His historic studio is conveniently located near downtown in the quiet neighborhood of Cleveland Park. His first passion was actually music but after a life changing backpacking journey through Central America, he fell back in love with photography, changed the direction of his life, and never looked back. It is no wonder that musicians serve as a constant inspiration and subject in his portraiture.
