Market Square is primarily a full valet service facility. However, it allows self-parking when traffic is slower and for certain exceptions. It consists of two buildings joined by a landscaped plaza. The location spans an entire block along Market Street between 9th and 10th Streets in San Francisco’s Mid-Market. The original building is formerly known as the Western Furniture Exchange and Merchandise Mart. The Garage and Building serves SOMA’s commercial district and Hayes Valley’s restaurants and shops. It is just across Market Street from Orpheum Theater, Civic Center Plaza, Davies Symphony Hall, War Memorial Opera House, the Asian Art Museum, Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, and a short walk from the city’s Theater District.
