Daniel Joseph (“Joe”) Jones is an attorney with experience advising multinational corporations, small businesses and individuals on a variety of corporate, commercial and civil matters. He spent a total of 12 years in Japan, first living there as a high school student, and later as a law student and as in-house counsel to Shinsei Bank and ITOCHU Corporation. During this time, he became fluent in written and spoken Japanese. He practiced corporate law at Squire Patton Boggs in Tokyo and Washington, and as Assistant General Counsel for the world’s largest manufacturer of industrial wood pellets in Bethesda, Maryland. While in Tokyo, he taught International Contract Drafting for three semesters at the Temple University Beasley School of Law.
