Dr Kenneth Fine was among the first group of surgeons in the country to become subspecialty certified in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine, in which he currently specializes at The Orthopaedic Center division in D.C., Rockville, and Germantown. Dr Fine has extensive experience caring for athletes at all levels, from recreational to elite, and previously served as the team physician and medical director for D.C. United professional soccer. He provided medical care for Olympic soccer teams during the 1996 summer Olympics, was co-medical director for the World Figure Skating championships in 2003 and in June of 2008, he served at the Olympic Training Center in Michigan where he also was the physician for the Junior U.S. Boxing Championships.
