Dr Karl Saardi, MD has joined The GW Medical Faculty Associates Department of Dermatology. Dr Saardi completed his undergraduate training at the Johns Hopkins University and went on to Rutgers-New Jersey Medical School for his medical degree. He is a recent graduate of the Combined Internal Medicine and Dermatology residency program at the Washington Hospital Center / Georgetown University Hospital. During this five-year program, Dr Saardi developed unique expertise in managing severe skin diseases both in the hospital and clinic setting. Dr Saardi has published several manuscripts on skin disease in patients who are on dialysis, severe medication reactions, graft-versus-host disease, and autoimmune conditions.
