Juliet Lee, MD is a general surgeon and performs laparoscopic procedures including appendectomy, cholecystectomy, inguinal hernia repair, ventral or incisional hernia repair, small bowel resection, colectomies, and Roux-en-Y gastric bypass. A board-certified surgeon and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, she is currently an assistant professor of surgery at The GWU School of Medicine and Health Sciences and the Director of Undergraduate Surgical Education. She also serves as the Associate Program Director for the Residency in General Surgery. Dr Lee earned her medical degree, with distinction in research, from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York. She completed her residency at GW in 2002.
