GAP Community Child Development Center is a non-profit, NAEYC-accredited program, established in 1982. This multi-cultural educational, developmental program serves children 6 weeks to 5 years. GAP's Pre-K program is one of only 30 OSSE PKEEP programs in the District! GAP - Growing Advancing Preparing, motivates and challenges children in a safe environment, ensuring that learning and exploring new concepts is exciting! GAP follows Teaching Strategies Gold’s Creative Curriculum and DC Common Core - DC’s standard for early childhood education. GAP’s administration and highly-trained, long-tenured staff provide an educational experience that embraces the “whole child" and facilitates positive cognitive, emotional, and physical growth.
