Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Rheumatology, Dr. Assil Saleh is a 1998 graduate of the United Medical and Dental Schools of Guy’s and St. Thomas’s in London, England. She moved to the United States in 2000 and completed a residency in internal medicine at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. She stayed on at Hopkins for a three-year fellowship in rheumatology, during which time she also earned a Master’s degree in Public Health from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. After finishing fellowship in 2006, Dr. Saleh joined the faculty of the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She then joined Foxhall Internists in 2010, and is currently accepting new patients.
