Dr. Kathy HoganBruen, licensed clinical psychologist and founder of District Anxiety Center in DC, specializes in the cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) treatment of anxiety disorders and obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) in teens and adults. She uses evidenced-based behavioral treatments, such as Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Dr. HoganBruen runs groups for Social Anxiety Disorder, and formerly served as the Group Therapy Program Director at the Ross Center. Dr. HoganBruen is an adjunct Clinical Professor of Psychology at both George Washington University and The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in DC.
