DC Tutoring and Mentoring Initiative supports and works with nearly 45 partners who are dedicated to empowering students in the greater DC area who face both academic and non-academic challenges. DCTMI recruits and mobilizes local volunteers from universities, student organizations, congregations and more to provide tutors and mentors to the District’s students and adults in need of additional support. We link volunteers with tutoring/mentoring programs and organizations already in operation and provide ongoing support to these organizations and programs as they continue to impact the many lives of DC area residents in need.
