Charnice Milton Community Bookstore promotes literacy in Washington DC neighborhoods most in need. CMCB collects used books and distributes them, some free of charge and some at a small fee in two locations, at We Act Radio and Bus Boys and Poets-Anacostia, both on MLK Ave SE. In addition, CMCB operates a "WeLuvBooks" Bookshop, through which 30% of profits support our local literacy work.
