Charles Baron, MD, MPH, is a primary care provider and assistant professor of medicine in the Division of General Internal Medicine at the George Washington University (GW) Medical Faculty Associates and GW School of Medicine and Health Sciences. He obtained his undergraduate degree in chemistry at Wesleyan University and his medical degree at Thomas Jefferson University. He went on to complete his residency in the primary care internal medicine program at GW and is excited to join the GW faculty as a primary care physician. Dr Baron has focused much of his education on promoting health equity and practicing harm reduction.
