Dr Elizabeth Delasobera is a sports medicine physician and concussion specialist in Washington, DC. She is the head team physician for the Washington Capitals professional hockey team. She treats athletes of all levels, from weekend warriors to professionals. Dr Delasobera treats a wide variety of musculoskeletal injuries and conditions, including non-surgical sprains, strains, tears, fractures, overuse, and instability. As a concussion specialist, she continues to be instrumental in the development of standardized protocols and guidelines for the MedStar Health Sports Medicine Concussion Program. Dr Delasobera is board certified in emergency medicine. Most insurances are accepted.
