Andrew Drew Matz, MD, MPH serves as an attending physician on the GWUH Inpatient Behavioral Health Unit. He holds the academic rank of assistant professor of psychiatry and behavioral sciences at the GW School of Medicine & Health Sciences. Prior to his work at GW, Dr Matz served as an inpatient attending and Medical Director of the Substance Abuse Program at Dominion Hospital, HCA Healthcare in Arlington, Virginia and at the Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group, Kaiser Permanente in Woodbridge, VA. Dr Matz received his MD from the University of Virginia.
