1921, a Biergarten at the Heurich House Museum, serves a rotating list of fresh local craft beer from DC Brewers’ Guild members, craft cocktails and wine from the area’s best beverage producers, and Senate Beer, the museum’s historic revival with Right Proper Brewing Company. The biergarten is open in the museum’s Castle Garden and carriage house. Gather around Oktoberfest-style tables and Adirondack chairs, warm yourself at our fire pits and heaters, and sip on your drink while visiting HOME/BREWED: How the Chr. Heurich Brewing Co. Witnessed DC History, an exhibit featuring 1,000 objects from the historic brewery. The biergarten directly supports the museum’s Education and Small Business Development programs.
